Business Controller capabilities

The Business Controller should be well aware of all aspects of management accounting and behavioral accounting for doing the job right. With a university degree in Business Economics Controlling (drs.) and as a Charted Controller (RC/EMFC) I have the knowledge to make sure the organisation will get the added value of the Business Controller which is needed. Not only knowledge skills are important for this role. The ability to operate independently and in a (project) team also requires specific communication skills to do the job right.

Business Controller experiences

As organisations are different: Business Control is different in every organisation. At manufacturing it is important to focus on efficiencies, utilization, contracts, cost price and sales. At logistic companies it is important to control the stock movements and valuations. For multinationals it is important to control their IT Cost (IT Control), business processes and risk. All these subjects I came across during my role as a Business Controller for several international listed companies.
